Sales Manager – Automotive Sector

We’re looking for a driven and commercially minded Sales Manager to join our client's dynamic sales team within the automotive sector. This is a customer-facing role focused on managing key OEM relationships, delivering strong commercial performance, and supporting new business development.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage and develop relationships with OEM customers
* Take ownership of customer performance, service levels, and outcomes
* Support sales strategy through market analysis and reporting
* Lead CRM processes, ensuring accurate data and regular updates
* Collaborate with internal teams (R&D, Quality, Supply Chain) to meet customer requirements
* Handle customer negotiations, quotations, and commercial discussions
* Monitor customer satisfaction and resolve issues effectively
* Support audits, compliance updates, and product changes
* Attend customer meetings and contribute to business growth initiatives
About You
* Degree-educated (business-related preferred)
* Experience in a customer-facing sales role within a commercial environment
* Background in automotive
* Strong analytical and financial understanding (P&L, margins, etc.)
* Confident communicator with excellent negotiation skills
* Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel
