GeneralFinance Payroll ManagerDivision: Finance – Global Business ManagementKey Relationships: Global Expense Team, Finance Leadership Team, Finance Global Business Management, Finance Business Partners, Finance Group Reporting Team, Culture & People and Other Business Users.Job Summary:Ownership of end-to-end payroll accounting on a global basis for Beazley. This involves processing all remuneration data in the general ledger accurately and timely, supporting reconciliation & audit processes. The role includes engaging with the People & Sustainability payroll processing team, contributing to aligning payroll processes post-Workday implementation, and managing and mentoring the Finance Payroll Analyst.Key Requirements & Areas of Responsibility:Requires 5-10 years of global payroll accounting experience and a strong background in payroll processing.Good understanding of share schemes including Share Vesting, SIP, ISIP, SAYE & SUW, liaising with stakeholders on multiple schemes.Ensure the Finance Payroll Analyst has the necessary knowledge and skills, and maintain robust reconciliation processes.Lead audit processes for payroll accounting and explain movements effectively.Collaborate with expense managers to ensure aligned outputs and process efficiencies.Own end-to-end payroll processes for month & quarter-end closing, ensuring control & governance compliance.Act as business partner for payroll data & process issues, supporting ad hoc business requests.Strategic Objectives:Review and develop payroll accounting capabilities to meet future organizational needs.Support delivery of strategic and local expense projects aligned with group requirements.Core Competencies:Analytical Thinking, Professionalism, Learning & Development, Adaptability, Responsibility & Accountability, Effective Communication, Teamwork, Innovative Approach, Integrity & Control.General:Adhere to Beazley's core values and policies, undertake necessary training, uphold business ethics, and stay updated on role-specific responsibilities.Personal & Qualifications:Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA).Experience with payroll and remuneration transactions, month-end reporting in complex organizations.Capabilities include integrity, stakeholder management, control frameworks, adaptability, attention to detail, and strong communication skills.Note: This job posting is active and not expired.
