Job Overview
1. Ensure full statutory, mandatory, and contractual compliance
2. Lead all hard service disciplines across site
3. Support the FM team to deliver high‑quality services to clients and customers
4. Strengthen stakeholder relationships and provide FM resilience
5. Optimise systems and processes to improve efficiency and reduce energy use
6. Develop understanding of contract commercial and delivery frameworks
7. Manage PPM and reactive works to meet SLAs and KPIs
8. Line manage engineering teams to maximise productivity
9. Drive % PDA usage through training, auditing, and compliance
10. Maintain engineer training matrix and support development and mentoring
11. Manage subcontractors in line with contractual requirements
Role Responsibilities:
12. Manage additional works, including scope agreement, quotations, and delivery
13. Review subcontractor RAMS, issue permits, and ensure compliance
14. Ensure certification is uploaded to Maximo, SharePoint, and site records
15. Proactively engage clients and key stakeholders to maximise satisfaction
16. Ensure all works follow Mitie Safe Systems of Work and H&S policies
17. Assist with monthly reporting and FM initiatives
18. Promote the One Team ethos across service lines
19. Lead health & safety ownership, reviews, huddles, and audits
20. Enhance service delivery through cross‑functional teamwork
21. Build a proactive, customer‑focused hard services delivery model
22. Challenge supplier quotations and lead energy‑saving initiatives
23. Support quarterly energy performance reviews
24. Attend and represent Mitie at client meetings when required
25. Escalate technical issues to the Hard Services and Energy Lead
Required Qualifications:
26. Experience in M&E environments
27. Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and specialist systems
28. Experience managing multi‑skilled engineering teams
29. Mechanical Engineering qualification
30. Water management experience (desirable)
31. Strong customer focus and communication skills
32. Health & Safety knowledge (IOSH Working Safely)
33. Full, clean driving licence and ability to work at heights
34. Organised, flexible, and able to manage administrative tasks
35. Reliable, professional, and able to work independently or as part of a team
