If so, then we at GSL Education Kent would love to hear from you. We have an exciting opportunity for a dedicated Primary Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in Canterbury. This is a full-time position starting ASAP. The selected Primary Teaching Assistant will be responsible for supporting classroom teachers and helping to create a nurturing, inclusive atmosphere for pupils across the primary phases.

As a Primary Teaching Assistant, you will be expected to:
Work alongside the class teacher to support the delivery of the primary curriculum.
Provide 1:1 or small group interventions to help pupils with their reading, writing, and numeracy.
Assist with the preparation of learning resources and classroom displays.
Adhere to school policies on safeguarding, behaviour management, and child protection.
In order to be considered for this Primary Teaching Assistant role, the candidate must:
Have previous experience working as a Primary Teaching Assistant or in a similar childcare setting.
Possess a genuine passion for supporting the development and wellbeing of children.
Have strong communication skills and a professional, reliable approach.
Have the right to work in the UK.

Have a Child Enhanced DBS certificate registered on the Update Service or be willing to apply for one.
