Job Title: Production Operative
Location: Coalville
Salary: GBP26,790 per year rotating days and afternoons shifts
Job type: Full time, fixed term 3 months.

Due to ongoing growth, we are looking for a reliable Production Operative to join our team working on a two:shift rotating basis : 5:30am to 1:30pm and 1:30pm to 9:30pm, Monday to Friday.

What We Are Looking For
The role will involve working as part of a team; requiring excellent communication and willing to take part in problem solving and continuous improvement exercises. Flexibility with a willingness to learn and embrace new skills will also form a fundamental requirement of the role.

Responsibilities
* Ensure all work is carried out safely.
* Ensure all equipment is in a safe and serviceable condition.
* Enforce and promote safety and housekeeping in your area of work.
* To report safety and hazard faults.
* Ensure customer quality standards are maintained at all times, including board caliper, print coverage, colour matching, die registration, case size and case squareness.
* Ensure a rapid response to machine failures and breakdowns and inform relevant departments (planning and despatch).
* Keep Line Manager informed of work progress.
* Ensure cleaning schedules are rigidly adhered to and meet the agreed schedule (daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly checks).
* Employ continuous improvement techniques and share best practice with colleagues.
* Demonstrate flexibility to cover absence and sickness as required.
