They are currently looking to strengthen the commercial team with a hands-on Senior Quantity Surveyor to oversee water mains replacement projects. Salary to £80k | Excellent Bonus | Company Car or Allowance | Stakeholder Pension | 25 Days Holiday Bank Holidays | Remote Working Senior Quantity Surveyor Key Essentials: * Reporting to the Director, you will be responsible for overseeing commercial aspects of capital work projects under NEC form or contract * Preparation and submission of CVR's; ensuring timely preparation and agreement of changes to avoid WIP and maximising cash-flow ensuring payments are received within allocated time-scales * Overseeing and ensuring that any project variations are captured * Produce cash-flow forecasts and keep updated and report on variances * Help ensure business targets are exceeded and that problems are identified and resolved at an early stage * Ensure that commercial and administrative systems, budgets and cost control procedures are utilised * Manage the commercial aspects of subcontract accounts * Ensure that accurate records are kept and full entitlement under the contract is achieved Senior Quantity Surveyor Requirements: * Previous experience as a Senior Quantity Surveyor on utility capital projects * Good knowledge of NEC forms of contract * You should be highly proficient in Microsoft Office Packages seniorquantitysurveyor seniorqs managingqs qs quantitysurveyor commercialmanager nec3 nec4 nec telecom power gas water civils underground excavation splice joint nrswa streetwork commercial forecast cvr cmar ewn compensationevents variations By applying for this position, you are agreeing for CVL:LDN to hold and process your personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
