Teaching Personnel is currently recruiting a compassionate and committed Teaching Assistant to join a supportive Special Resource Base (SRB) within a thriving secondary school in Blackwood, Caerphilly. This full-time role involves working with pupils with complex additional learning needs, providing tailored 1:1 and small group support.

Key Responsibilities
* Support the delivery of high-quality teaching and learning in a SEN setting
* Provide emotional and academic support to pupils with a range of needs
* Promote student engagement through positive reinforcement
* Adapt and respond to challenging behaviour with patience and empathy
* Collaborate with teachers and SENCO to track and support student progress
* Uphold all safeguarding policies and procedures
Requirements
* Right to work in the UK
* Enhanced Child-Only DBS Certificate (or willing to apply)
* EWC (Education Workforce Council) registration
* Two professional references covering the last 24 months
* Experience in a SEN setting is preferred, but not essential – full training and support provided
