JobDescription:
* ProvidingMental Health assessment risk assessment and formulation of themental health and treatment needs for referred patients; acting ascarecoordinator. Provide recommendations for maintaining maximalemployment applying an occupational health matrix.
* Initiating and participating in regularclinical supervision case conferences/professionals meetings wheremental health clinical input is required. Present patients to theMDT for guidance support supervision and training.
* Acting as a clinical resource and liaise withMedical Officers/General Practitioners (MO/GP) and offer advice toUnit Commanders on mental health matters the administrativemanagement of personnel with mental health difficulties and mentalhealth promotion.
* Participating in HealthcareGovernance processes to ensure maintenance of DCMH obligations tocontinuing CQC inspections and Safe and Effective Practice. Theremay be additional secondary clinical roles to assist the teamsdelivery of this but will not detract from the main focus ofdelivering assessment and therapy directly to patients.
* Communicating where appropriate onoccupational information directly with service persons chain ofcommand whilst respecting the principles of patientconfidentiality.
