Cleansing Operative
Location: Tamworth
Pay: £12.65 per hour
Hours: Any 5 days out of 7 | 07:30 - 15:30
The Best Connection Tamworth are currently recruiting for a Cleansing Operative to support maintaining a high standard of cleanliness across the Tamworth area. This is a hands-on, outdoor role ideal for someone who enjoys working as part of a team and takes pride in their work.
Key Responsibilities
* Undertaking a range of cleansing and grounds maintenance duties
* Emptying bins and litter picking
* Assisting with fly-tipping removal
* Removing graffiti and carrying out jet washing where required
* Ensuring all duties are completed to agreed service and customer care standards
Knowledge & Experience
* Previous experience in grounds maintenance or manual cleansing preferred but not essential
* Basic level of literacy and numeracy
* Ability to work as part of a team
* Ability to meet deadlines and work efficiently
* Positive attitude and willingness to learn
A 7.5 tonne (C1) licence or pre-1997 (grandfather rights) is desirable. You may also be required to open and lock the depot.
Working Hours
* Any 5 days out of 7 (including weekends)
* 07:30 - 15:30
* 30-minute unpaid break
