Duties as a French/German Teacher: Teach French and/or German across Key Stages 3 and 4. Plan and deliver high-quality, engaging lessons that support progress and enjoyment of language learning. Prepare students for GCSE examinations, ensuring strong outcomes. Foster a positive classroom environment that promotes communication, participation, and mutual respect. Contribute to extra-curricular opportunities such as language clubs, trips, or cultural events. Ideal French/German Teacher: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. A degree in French, German, or a related subject. Experience teaching one or both languages at secondary level. Strong subject knowledge and up-to-date understanding of the curriculum.
