Job Summary
We are seeking a talented and motivated Mechanical Engineer to join our dynamic team.
Key Responsibilities
* Carry out planned and reactive maintenance tasks.
* Ensure PPM activities are completed on time.
* Reactive Maintenance tasks are actioned as quickly as possible in a safe and efficient manner.
* Maintain compliance and statutory inspections and support other functions with this task.
* Support the EHS team.
* Ensure the stock of spares.
Skills/Experience
* City and Guilds or similar qualification in Maintenance (Apprenticeship)
* GCSE or equivalent in Maths and English
* Understanding of H&S procedures
* Team player
* Positive attitude
* Creative and able to work under own initiative and as part of a team
* Ability to work under pressure
* Work/Relevant Experience
* Minimum 2 years in similar role
* Experience working with machine and plant maintenance and breakdowns
* Experience working in a manufacturing environment
* Experience of working with a computerised maintenance system
* Experience with Welding and Fabrication
* Computer literate
* Holds a good understanding of general engineering principles
* Available for out of hours (breakdown system on a rota)
