Role: Supply Chain Manager
Type: Permanent
Location: Vauxhall (3 days per week in office)
Salary: £45,000 - £50,000 DOE + up to 20% bonus + benefits
Key Responsibilities Include (but not limited to):
Manage and develop the relationship with the business' primary contract manufacturer in the Far East.
Support the successful scaling of production output from ~50k to 150k units annually.
Lead annual and in‑year contract negotiations, ensuring best value and commercial optimisation.
Source electrical and sub‑components, balancing quality, cost, lead times and supplier performance.
Work closely with internal Hardware teams to ensure on‑time, high‑quality product manufacture.
Drive continuous improvement across supply operations, reducing cost and enhancing quality.
Lead production planning with the contract manufacturer and sub‑suppliers.
Analyse supply chain data and report on KPIs, spend variances, supplier performance and operational metrics.
Contribute to long‑term supply strategy relating to new markets, supplier networks and product iterations.
Key Skills & Experience Required:
Minimum 3 years' experience in Senior Supply Chain or Senior Purchasing roles, ideally within consumer electronics, FMCG or other product‑based environments.
Strong background in contract negotiations (ideally £1m+ deal exposure).
Experience working in a small, fast‑paced, or start‑up environment with broad end‑to‑end responsibility.
Comfortable owning supply operations, solving operational challenges, and driving improvements.
