A certification organisation requires a Trainee Technician to firstly, book in projects onto the internal system, general housekeeping and within time, learn from experienced Laboratory Engineers the various tests they conduct on products. The ideal candidate will have a formal college qualification and interests in technology.

The Role
Reporting in the Operations Manager you will have the following duties:
-Assisting experienced Technicians with the setup, operation and breakdown of equipment.
-Perform simple laboratory tests in order to produce reliable and precise data.
-Assist in booking projects onto the internal system.
-Ensure the laboratory area is maintained in good order.
The Person
Educated to BTec or NVQ level in a relevant discipline you will have the following experience:
-Strong organisational skills.
-Good inter-personal skills for all internal and external communications.
-Good IT skills including Microsoft Office.
-Attention to detail.
