A Day in the Life of a CPN:
Join our team as a Community Psychiatric Nurse and make a meaningful impact in the lives of individuals within a specialist Eating Disorder service. Your core responsibilities include:
* Conducting comprehensive mental health assessments and risk evaluations
* Developing and implementing personalised care and treatment plans
* Medication management and participation in duty rotas
* Carrying a caseload and ensuring continuity of care
* Supervising students and supporting their learning and development
* Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, including psychologists, dietitians, and consultants
* Maintaining accurate clinical records in line with compliance standards
Requirements & Qualifications:
* Current and valid NMC registration and PIN
* Essential: Experience working within an Eating Disorder service
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
* Dedication to delivering high-quality mental health and nursing care
Working Hours & Contract Duration:
This full-time role requires availability from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM. The contract is initially for 3 months, with a strong possibility of extension based on performance and service needs.
