We Do What We Say And We Care
That’s why we need people like you to help us deliver on our promises. People who enjoy getting things done and want to develop their experience in the world of utilities.
Clancy are seeking a Water Network Team Leader to join our team on a permanent basis. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working outdoors, has the ability to take on a physically demanding role, and can thrive in all-weather conditions.
Here are some of the daily activities you’ll be involved with...
* Locating and repairing mains water defects
* Ensuring equipment and systems are fit for use, properly maintained, and fully operational
* Carrying out risk assessments to ensure safe working practices
* Maintaining strict compliance with Clancy Group health, safety, and environmental standards
* Acting as a mentor and coach to less experienced colleagues, helping them develop their skills
We would love to hear from you if you can demonstrate...
You have proven experience as a Team Leader or Supervisor, with a solid knowledge and understanding of the construction and water industry. You’ll bring a proactive approach to problem-solving, strong leadership skills, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of safety and quality.
A full, clean driving licence is essential, and an NRSWA qualification is highly desirable. Experience in underground service detection using tools such as CAT and Genny, along with a strong awareness of health and safety practices, will be vital to success in this role.
While a CSCS card (or equivalent) would be an advantage, we would also value experience operating plant such as diggers or excavators. Additional qualifications including an Excavator Ticket, DOMS, Streetworks (Units 1 and 3 minimum), and recognised Service Avoidance Training would be highly beneficial.

In addition to helping you reach your career goals, a competitive salary, pension, healthcare and holiday allowance starting at 22 days per annum, we also offer perks including Clancy Xtras, our employee benefits programme with discounts for numerous well-known retailers such as Tesco, Sainsbury’s, Currys PC World and Vue Cinemas, cycle to work scheme as well as an Employee Assistance Programme.
