Purchase Ledger Accountant - £30,000 - £35,000 - 2-month contract - Chessington
I am currently recruiting for a leading business that requires a Purchase Ledger Accountant to cover a busy period.
Key Duties
* Accurately manage a robust purchase order process:
* Receive and match supplier invoices against approved purchase orders.
* Upload and store matched supplier invoices into the accounting system ready for payment.
* Ensure appropriate document referencing and storage.
* Initiate payment requests in line with agreed payment terms.
* Post appropriate accounting journals.
* Reconcile supplier statements and resolve issues.
* Manage intercompany transactions and reporting.
* Complete month-end activities accurately and timely.
* Manage relationships with internal and external suppliers.
* Perform ad-hoc duties as required by the business.
What You Will Need To Be Successful
* 2+ years' experience in a similar role.
* Team player.
* Available immediately.
