The Havering Mental Health & Wellness Team (MH&WT) North is looking to recruit a Community Mental Health Nurse for a full-time vacancy. The post holder will work within a dynamic, friendly multi-disciplinary team. Applicants should have substantial experience in a mental health setting, excellent organisational, interpersonal, and communication skills, and evidence-based knowledge of the Recovery Model.
The successful candidate will work alongside a multi-disciplinary team in the newly formed Mental Wellness teams, with opportunities to participate in projects and training initiatives.
You will manage a caseload of service users with complex needs and may work within the wellness clinic delivering physical and mental health interventions.
Good IT skills and knowledge of electronic recording systems are essential. Flexibility to work within service demands is required.
Work closely with other agencies to deliver recovery-focused interventions, managing risk and safeguarding vulnerable adults.
The role includes providing managerial supervision, mentoring students, and participating in educational and research programmes.
Probationary Period: This post is subject to a probationary period, except for internal applicants.
Starting with NELFT: All new starters join on the first Monday of each month, undergoing a comprehensive induction including mandatory training, system training, and equipment allocation at our Rainham, Essex head office.
High Cost Area Supplement - Outer London: An additional 15% of the basic salary (minimum £4,551, maximum £5,735 p.a. pro-rata for part-time) is payable.
