The Role of Casual Sales Assistant:
This is a customer-focused role aimed at driving customer loyalty and sales through providing personalized service. You will be responsible for delivering exceptional service to meet personal and business targets, inspiring customers through your belief and enthusiasm for our products. We seek individuals eager to learn, develop their skills, product knowledge, and adapt to our evolving retail environment. Successful candidates will actively share ideas and identify opportunities to enhance the store environment and grow the business.
While primarily a customer-facing role, flexibility to support colleagues in other store areas when needed is essential.
Key Accountabilities:
* Greet and engage customers upon arrival and address initial queries (e.g., buy and collect).
* Assist customers with security tags left on at barriers.
* Support on nearby tills if necessary.
* Deliver a world-class customer experience to stand out in the marketplace.
* Help style customers by actively listening to their needs with attention to detail.
* Introduce and demonstrate enthusiasm for all multi-channel services to drive sales and loyalty.
* Resolve queries effectively face-to-face or via telephone.
* Maintain replenishment standards and stockroom organization to ensure product availability.
* Maintain high standards of personal presentation.
* Support in-store events, contribute ideas, and provide feedback for improvements.
* Uphold sophisticated retail and visual standards to attract customers and increase sales.
* Participate in loss prevention initiatives.
* Follow all health and safety policies diligently.
