Purpose of the Role
We are seeking a strategic, hands-on, and data-driven Head of Social Media to lead our social media efforts across platforms like TikTok, Instagram, and Facebook. This role involves owning our organic and paid social strategies to enhance reach, engagement, and brand growth through data-driven content and partnerships.
The ideal candidate will have proven experience in scaling brand presence, deep knowledge of social algorithms, and expertise in content, community management, paid media, and influencer collaborations.
This is a hands-on role with strategic influence, shaping the brand voice and online presence.
Key Responsibilities
Day-to-Day: Content, Community & Execution
* Develop and execute content plans ensuring high-quality, creative content.
* Manage messaging across Instagram, Facebook, TikTok.
* Engage with audiences, manage queries, and foster community.
* Create compelling written posts with excellent grammar.
* Use in-app tools and Illustrator to produce visual content, collaborating with designers for complex projects.
* Follow platform-specific best practices.
* Maintain brand message consistency.
* Manage and develop the social media team.
* Implement scalable organic and paid strategies to boost awareness and engagement.
* Leverage platform trends and algorithms for visibility.
* Track KPIs, analyze performance, and optimize campaigns.
* Coordinate with paid media agencies for aligned campaigns.
* Maintain social media playbooks and frameworks.
* Lead influencer marketing efforts, from identification to performance tracking.
* Build and nurture relationships with influencers and creators.
* Source UGC and creator content to diversify storytelling.
* Monitor influencer performance and ensure high-value collaborations.
Leadership & Team Development
* Manage and mentor social media team members.
* Collaborate with marketing, creative, PR, and digital teams for integrated efforts.
* Advocate for social media’s value within the organization.
Essential Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
* At least 5 years in senior social media roles, with proven growth experience on TikTok, Instagram, Facebook.
* Successful track record in influencer and creator partnerships.
* Deep understanding of social platform mechanics and best practices.
* Strong knowledge of paid social strategies and performance marketing.
* Skilled in content planning, storytelling, and copywriting.
* Ability to interpret analytics and use data to guide strategies.
* Experience with social management tools like Hootsuite, Sprout Social, etc.
* Excellent stakeholder management and multi-campaign handling skills.
* A relevant qualification in social media or digital marketing is preferred.

This is a full-time office-based role, 37.5 hours/week, Monday to Friday, 9am to 5.30pm.
