Role: Chemistry Technician Location: Kettering Salary: £23,901 to £24,500(plus 10% shift allowance) Hours: 37.5 hrs per week - 10am - 6pm Monday to Friday Our client has a full-time vacancy for a Technician to work within their Chemistry department. Hours for the position are Monday to Friday 10am – 6pm. A 10% shift allowance will be paid, in addition to the salary – Monday to Thursday from 4.30pm to 6pm and Friday from 4pm to 6pm. About The Department The chemical testing team consists of around 20 multiskilled technicians, technologists, and other support staff. The chemical laboratory houses a range of analytical equipment including IC, GC-FID, HPLC, UV-Vis, GC-MS, and LC-MS. Testing for restricted substances and assessing the chemical properties of a range of consumer products against international and European standards is carried out to show due diligence or to apply for CE or UKCA certification.
