HGV Lorry Driver – Multi‑Drop – Greater London plus
Starting Salary: £18 per hour – £37,440 (£20 per hour after probation – £41,600 a year). Discretionary Bonus Scheme.
HGV / Lorry Drivers: 40 hour per week, 5 days Mon‑Sat, 3 AM‑12 NOON.
At least 1 year HGV experience of 12 tonne van. Full UK driving licence. No more than 3 points. Must have right to work in the UK.

Requirements
We are strengthening our Transport Team. As a Delivery Driver the successful candidate will deliver high quality perishable and non‑perishable goods to premium clients.
Flexibility
Flexibility and willingness to extend the extra mile to support the business is a key requirement for this role. Experience from a food company especially in fleet and stock management is highly desirable.
Tasks Include
* Checking and loading & unloading own vehicle with items listed on the truck load sheets. Will need to push cages on & off lorry while unloading them at customer sites.
* Checking paperwork accurately while loading & unloading and route planning effectively.
* Delivering mainly in Central London, other locations may be required.
* Being able to count and carefully store products safely in the vehicle.
* Responsibility of vehicle upkeep – cleanliness, preventing & reporting any damage.
* Communicating and building relationships with customers and the office team.
Required Attributes
* Good level of numeracy and English language.
* Ability to work under pressure, and always remain calm and respectful to others.
* Physically fit and able to lift and drop stock manually.
* 2‑years previous driving experience – at least 1 year HGV driving experience of a 12‑tonne van.
* Can efficiently work within a high volume transport operation.
* Must hold a UK Driving Licence, no more than 3 points and confident driving a 7.5 tonne van plus.
* Good attention to detail; pre‑trip vehicle inspections and maintain cleanliness of vehicle.
* Effective team player as well as ability to work on own initiative.
* Able to commit to weekend and Bank Holiday working.
