We are offering an opportunity for a Customer Service Lead Controller to join our team in Warrington on a full-time permanent basis.
The role involves supporting the Customer Services Manager, developing and supervising a team to ensure excellent service in a fast-paced environment, and providing professional support for all customer and client needs.
Working hours: Any 5 in 7 days
Salary: £28,754 per annum
Key Duties:
* Support the Customer Service management team by providing cover for shifts, holidays, and short notice absences, including short-term secondments—requiring flexibility in working hours and days.
* Assist in training and developing staff on all Customer Service procedures relevant to the department.
* Maintain excellent knowledge of current Customer Service processes and procedures, along with an understanding of core business operations.
* Work across different departments and sites, requiring flexibility and offering opportunities to learn new skills.
* Review procedures and instructions regularly to ensure they are current and reflect best practices, performing checks to monitor compliance, accuracy, and efficiency.
* Investigate new methods to improve accuracy and cost efficiency within the team and the business, making effective use of company systems.
* Participate in quality reviews of company policies and procedures to ensure they are up-to-date and effective.
Qualifications:
* GCSE grade ‘C’ or above in Maths and English
* Equivalent of 5 GCSEs grade ‘C’ or above
* Strong numeracy and literacy skills with a positive attitude
* High flexibility, commitment, and motivation
* Ability to operate independently within guidelines
* Team-oriented
