Registered Children's Manager required to oversee the care and support of children at a brand new home soon to be opening near Haywards Heath.
This home will provide a safe, therapeutic environment for 5 young people with emotional and behavioural difficulties, mental health conditions, and complex trauma histories.
Their time at the home marks a crucial stage in their journey, a period where they require intensive, bespoke therapeutic care to support their recovery from trauma. Our goal is to provide a nurturing environment where healing, stability, and personal growth can flourish.
You will play a vital role in managing the team, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and fostering a nurturing environment for all residents.

About the Role:
As the Registered Manager, you will:
* Oversee the day-to-day management of the home, ensuring compliance with Ofsted regulations and standards.
* Provide strong leadership and direction to staff, fostering a culture of positivity, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
* Develop and implement individual care plans to meet the needs of each child or young person.
* Ensure the safety and well-being of children, promoting their physical, emotional, and social development.
* Manage budgets and resources effectively to deliver high-quality care.
* Build and maintain positive relationships with external agencies, families, and stakeholders.
* Lead the home through Ofsted inspections, striving for a rating of "Good" or "Outstanding.
About You:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* Level 3 Children & Young People Workforce.
* Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management- Children and Young People Qualification, or the willingness to complete quickly.
* Significant experience working in a children’s residential care setting, including in a leadership role.
* A thorough understanding of Ofsted regulations, safeguarding practices, and children’s home legislation.
* Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills.
* A genuine passion for improving the lives of children and young people.
* The ability to inspire and motivate a team to deliver outstanding care.
