* 26 days’ annual leave plus 8 Bank Holidays (increases with service)
* Outstanding pension scheme (contributions of up to 16% of basic salary)
* Life assurance
* Health and dental cashplan option
Your role
As a full-stack Application Developer, you will be responsible for creating visually appealing, user-friendly, and responsive web applications. You will be part of a small centre of excellence in full-stack web technologies and user interface development, designing mock-ups and wireframes and translating them into fully functional digital applications used by our volunteers and staff. You will be helping the RNLI to deliver applications that will enhance engagement and satisfaction and ultimately, support those who are part of our mission to save lives.
You will also:
* Follow modern DevOps practices using Git and Azure DevOps to manage source control, CI/CD pipelines, and structured development workflows. You will ensure code is versioned and peer reviewed, deployments are automated and traceable across environments, and work is effectively tracked and documented using tools such as Azure Boards, Repos, and Pipelines.
* Work confidently across a range of modern technologies and frameworks including Vue, Angular, C++, TypeScript, MSSQL, and MySQL, applying best practices to build robust, scalable, and maintainable web applications.

* Experience of using version control systems such as GitHub, and of DevOps methodology
* Experience with agile development methodologies and project management practices is a plus
* It is also desirable (but not essential) that you have an understanding of data modelling, data integration, and API consumption; knowledge of Azure services and cloud computing; and experience of VueJS and Bootstrap
