Do you love the challenge of digging into systems to make sure everything works exactly as it should?
Are you at your best when guiding clients through testing, troubleshooting and going live with confidence?
This 6-month FTC is with a technology-first business powering some of the biggest names in the UK energy sector. Their platforms sit at the heart of the industry and they’re growing fast.
As an Implementation Consultant, you’ll lead client onboarding from start to finish with a real focus on testing and assurance. You’ll work closely with customers to scope requirements, walk them through rigorous integration and user testing phases whilst ensuring everything’s lined up for a smooth go-live. Internally, you’ll also help improve delivery processes and support less experienced members of the team.
There’s a lot of variety here and even on a contract, your input will be valued and heard.
Here's a brief overview of what you can expect to be getting up to:
* Taking ownership of full implementation cycles, from discovery to delivery
* Managing system integration and testing phases—ensuring accuracy, performance, and compliance
* Guiding clients through UAT and accreditation steps, offering support and best practice advice
* Troubleshooting issues and working across internal teams to drive resolution
* Shaping delivery approaches and mentoring junior team members
* Contributing to continuous improvement across the function
In a dreamworld, this is what you can bring with you:
* Experience in implementation, consultancy, testing or business analysis roles
* Strong attention to detail and confidence leading clients through complex testing cycles
* A methodical approach to problem-solving and a proactive mindset
* Understanding of system integration and software delivery processes
* Exposure to SQL Server or similar database technologies would be a plus
* Energy sector experience helpful—but not a must-have
The team meet in their Chorley HQ once a week to collaborate in person. Whether this is a stepping stone or something longer-term, it’s a great opportunity to work with a supportive, forward-thinking team on meaningful, hands-on delivery.
As always, you know where we are....
