Role Overview: The SolidWorks Engineer is responsible for developing, standardizing, and delivering high-quality 3D parametric and fabrication models for MEP prefabrication using SolidWorks. A core function of this role is ensuring seamless digital workflow integration and interoperability between SolidWorks models and BIM platforms (Revit/Navisworks). The role also involves technical support, mentoring BIM teams on SolidWorks prefabrication workflows, and continuous optimization of design and manufacturing processes. This position requires strong expertise in SolidWorks design, a solid understanding of BIM/MEP construction practices, and a focus on fabrication efficiency. Key Focus Areas Design & Modeling: Expert-level 3D parametric and assembly modeling in SolidWorks for MEP systems and prefab assemblies. Interoperability: Managing integration workflows and data exchange between SolidWorks and BIM environments (Revit/IFC). Standards & Development: Creating and maintaining SolidWorks templates, libraries, and custom features aligned with fabrication requirements.
