Production Planner Dungannon Vickerstock are working in partnership with a leading food manufacturing business based in Dungannon to recruit a Production Planner. Reporting to the Planning Manager, you will play a key role in coordinating production activities, ensuring efficient factory utilisation and delivering exceptional customer service levels. Coordinate factory resources including labour, facilities and packaging to maximise efficiency. Develop commercially focused weekly slaughter and boning schedules. Monitor production performance against plan and implement corrective actions where required. Ensure customer orders are fulfilled to agreed service levels. Maintain and update forecasting data and KPI reports. Work closely with production, operations and sales teams to optimise stock availability and minimise surplus inventory. Support continuous improvement initiatives across planning and production functions. Your essential ingredients: Previous experience in a Production Planner role within a fast-paced production environment. Experience within food manufacturing or meat processing would be highly advantageous. Strong planning, scheduling and analytical skills. Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities. High level of attention to detail, strong communication and interpersonal skills. Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and confidence using Microsoft Office packages. Your next step...
