Location: Leaders in Oncology Care (Harley St W1G 8PP, Sydney St SW3 6NJ, Platinum Medical Centre NW8 7JA)
Shift Pattern: 9AM-5PM, Monday - Friday

We’re looking for a Senior Medical Secretary to join our Float Team based across 3 of our London Facilities.
As a Float Senior Medical Secretary, you will be responsible for ensuring the continued provision of the highest quality of secretarial and administrative support to all our consultants – covering any gaps in the service. This is a varied role that will provide you an opportunity to work with multiple consultants across multiple specialities and will assist you in developing your existing skills and knowledge.

What you’ll do:
1. Provide full secretarial support to the Consultants practice (including audio-typing of clinical/non-clinical material, reports etc) including those of a sensitive nature, whilst maintaining confidentiality.
2. At consultants’ request arrange admissions, request investigations and obtain test results using hospital data systems. Draw consultants’ immediate attention to results deemed abnormal or urgent.
3. Manage other correspondence and telephone contacts appropriately.
4. Maintain and file accurate patient records, including appropriate patient case note filing, and preparation of relevant clinic notes prior to Outpatient Clinics.
What you’ll bring:
5. Previous Medical Secretarial experience.
6. Experience within Private Sector (Desirable)
7. Significant understanding of Medical terminology.
8. Strong attention to detail, accurate typing and letter proof reading skills.
9. Computer literacy.
10. Excellent communication skills.
