About the role
We are seeking a passionate and dynamic PE Teacher to deliver engaging and inspiring lessons to students across all Key Stages. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to contribute to the school's sports program, organize extracurricular activities, and promote a positive attitude towards physical activity and healthy living.
Responsibilities:
1. Plan and deliver high-quality PE lessons that are inclusive and differentiated to meet the needs of all students
2. Inspire and motivate students to participate in physical activities and develop their skills, confidence, and enjoyment of sport
3. Organize and lead extracurricular sports clubs, teams, and events
4. Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to support their development
5. Collaborate with colleagues to promote cross-curricular links and incorporate physical activity into other areas of the curriculum
6. Maintain accurate records of student attendance, progress, and achievements
7. Uphold the school's values and policies, including promoting positive behavior and ensuring the safety and well-being of students
8. Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues regarding student progress, achievements, and concerns
Qualifications:
9. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification with a specialization in Physical Education
10. Experience teaching PE at the secondary level is preferred
11. Strong knowledge of the national curriculum for PE and current trends in physical education
12. Ability to engage and inspire students of all abilities through dynamic and creative teaching methods
13. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
14. Commitment to promoting the benefits of physical activity and healthy lifestyles
15. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and contribute to the wider school community
16. Willingness to participate in extracurricular activities and school events

Requirements
To be considered for the role of PE Teacher you will:
17. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relavent teaching qualification
18. Experience teaching Physical Education
19. Experience working with children in KS3/KS4

Salary
£30,000 to £46,525 per year
Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
