Mechanical Design Engineer
Location: Northamptonshire
Salary: £45,000 - £50,000 per annum
Hours: Monday to Friday
Holidays: 24 days + Bank Holidays

The products are used to sort, transport, and transform waste in diverse industries, including waste management, warehousing, security shredding, and pulp and paper. Key Responsibilities
* Project Management: Oversee smaller projects independently and collaborate on larger projects as part of a team.
* Design: Utilize 3D modelling to design machinery and plant layouts, focusing on fabricated sheet‑metal products.
* Compliance: Ensure designs adhere to Machinery Directives and health & safety requirements.
* Budgeting: Manage budgets for equipment, materials, and labour hours.
* Collaboration: Liaise with sub‑contractors, production, and assembly teams.
* Site Visits: Conduct measurements and client consultations on site.
* Documentation: Create Bill of Materials (BOMs), costings, and installation manuals.
