An exciting opportunity has arisen within our friendly Health Records team to support the operational delivery of an effective support service to clinical teams. The successful postholder will support the Health Records team with day to day line management and co-ordination of the service.

The ideal candidate would have previous team leader experience and knowledge of NHS priorities and targets. They will be responsible for the day to day delivery of the prep service within the Health Records Library and will support with ongoing improvements following the implementation of the trusts new digital clinical system.

Hours per week: 37.5

To support the Prep Team in delivering a consistent and co-ordinated approach to the operational management of outpatient services across the organisation.

To ensure staff receive appropriate levels of training and supervision.

To support the Health Records Supervisor in updating the relevant computerised booking systems for clinic maintain session, ensuring this function is co-ordinated and updated accurately and in a timely manner.

To support the Health records Supervisor in the management of the administrative team on a day to day basis ensuring implementation of changes to ensure a clear operational streamlined approach is delivered to the team supported by standard operational procedures.

To follow Trust Policies in relation to patient information, storage of case notes and tracking procedures.
