Overview
Day Lewis is looking for a full‑time Pharmacy Assistant – Dispenser. The successful candidate will support development and future career in medicine and clinical care.
Key Responsibilities
* Assist the pharmacist in developing the pharmacy business by ensuring the dispensary delivers a superb level of customer service and operates effectively with regards to company policies and procedures.
* Assist on the front counter and be a great welcome and support to patients.
* Be an integral part of a small, hard‑working and compact team.
* Develop relationships with patients and healthcare organisations to ensure that we deliver the most effective and patient friendly customer service.
* Collaborate with the team to maintain a family‑owned chain that rewards, recognises and empowers hard workers.
Training & Development
The first stage of this career path involves settling into the team and completing the Day Lewis induction training. Depending on prior pharmacy experience, a pharmacy assistant course may be required and can take between 3–6 months. The National Pharmacutical Association’s new BTEC Level 3 Diploma – Principles and Practices for Pharmacy Technicians – is an integrated course tailored to support career progression.
