The Opportunity
An amazing opportunity for a skilled and experienced Wedding and Events Supervisor to join a diverse and exciting business at The Wellington Arms. Be part of this exciting journey as we build levels of sales over the coming seasons.
Catering for smaller more intimate Weddings and Events as well as larger up to 140 seated guests we offer exciting food and drink concepts which can be completely personalised to the guests requirements.
We are seeking a driven, enthusiastic and detail focussed candidate who will be passionate about delivering the very best experiences for our guests. The role will blend a mix of dealing with initial show round through to co-ordination and operating the events on the day. With our focus on quality over quantity in everything we do, we need the best of the best to be able to deliver an outstanding event every time.
Your New Job:
* Key leader of the events business.
* Delivering WOW show rounds to secure bookings
* Helping to curate a calendar of events to elevate the Wellington Arms brand within the local area.
* Supporting the Weddings & Events Manager in co-ordinating and being the main point of contact for Weddings and Events from conception through to operational delivery on the day.
* Focus on quality rather than quantity
What we are looking for?
* A dynamic, organised and guest focussed Wedding and Events Supervisor.
* You must have a strong work ethic and a lead from the front attitude in order to execute the Weddings and Events to the right level.
* You are required to have a positive attitude and good communication skills, confident manner and commitment to delivering an exceptionally high level of customer service.
* You will support the strategies set by our Senior Leadership Team in order to achieve growth in this area of the business.
* The drive to do whatever it takes to give the best experience possible to our guests.
* The ideal candidate will have experience of the co-ordination AND operation of Weddings and Events.
* The right person will have a warm, friendly, positive and professional attitude and remain guest focused at all times.
* This role requires the individual to be able to work to tight deadlines and as part of a larger team.
* You will have the ability to work to budgets and have an understanding of diary management.
* You must have a Full UK driving license.
Your Future as the Successful Candidate
The successful candidate will have a flexible working pattern structured around events, including weekends, to ensure the workforce are supported when required. Hours are operated on a rota system.
