Nursery Deputy Manager needed in Winchester,Hampshire!
Location: Winchester,Hampshire
Salary: £33, per year
Contract: Full-time 38-40 hours per week
Completely care is looking for a passionate and experienced Nursery Deputy Manager to support the Nursery Manager in the daily leadership of one of our nursery clients in Winchester, Hampshire.
Key Responsibilities:
Support the manager in leading the day-to-day operations of the nursery
Ensure delivery of outstanding care and education in line with the EYFS
Be the Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead, ensuring child protection and health & safety standards are met
Supervise and develop staff through effective leadership, appraisals, and training
Maintain positive relationships with children, parents, staff, and external professionals
Oversee curriculum planning, monitoring of children’s progress, and cohort tracking
Support with budgeting, fee collection, and maintaining occupancy targets
About You:
Level 3 (or above) qualification in Early Years
Experience in a supervisory or senior nursery role
Strong understanding of safeguarding, child development, and the EYFS
Excellent communication, organisational, and leadership skills
Commitment to inclusive practice and continuous improvement
