As a Part Time Custody Asset Servicing Analyst within the Global Custody Asset Servicing Team, you will gain exposure to corporate and income-related events across all asset classes, including collections, announcements capture, corporate actions processing, income processing, proxy and controls, entitlement completion, and payment processing. You will work within a dynamic team to complete BAU work and contribute to specialized projects and implementations where relevant.
Job responsibilities
1. Complete daily, timely, and accurate capture and input of all client corporate action instructions according to event and market requirements.
2. Execute instructions promptly and accurately in in-house systems and communicate with markets, including confirmation and reconciliation of agent and market confirmations.
3. Maintain clear and well-documented communication with sub-custodians, agents, brokers, counterparties, internal operational teams, and clients within prescribed timeframes.
4. Process all transactions accurately and timely as received from sub-custodians/agents.
5. Perform timely and accurate reconciliations to resolve cash and stock breaks daily.
6. Close files immediately after transaction processing and reconciliation.
7. Manage group email boxes and internal enquiry tools to ensure queries are resolved within service levels, maintaining client satisfaction.
8. Collaborate with Network Management to complete ASAs, support sub-custodian transitions, and resolve daily issues.
9. Adhere to all departmental procedures, policies, checkpoints, and controls.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
1. Financial services experience within a Custody or Investment Bank Corporate Actions environment.
2. Proven risk management performance with a track record of risk reduction.
3. Results-oriented with strategic and analytical thinking skills.
4. Experience adapting to change, learning, documenting, and implementing new processes efficiently.
5. Strong communication skills, both oral and written, with management, clients, and colleagues.
