Production Administrator
Location: Skelmersdale
Pay: £14.95 per hour
Contract: 6 months
Hours:
Monday - Thursday 07:00 - 15:55
Friday: 07:00 - 11:35
We are currently recruiting for a Production Administrator to support a busy operations team within a manufacturing environment. This is a hands-on administrative role, ideal for someone who is highly organised, confident with data, and enjoys working closely with production teams to keep processes running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities:
Providing administrative support to the Operations team and Production Area Leaders
Managing schedules, production records, and operational documentation
Recording, compiling, and retrieving data accurately using Excel and internal systems
Supporting stock, materials, and general production administration
Liaising with internal teams to ensure information is up to date and accurate
What We're Looking For:
Strong organisational and communication skills
Confident using MS Office, particularly Excel
Accurate and reliable data entry skills
Previous experience in a production, manufacturing, or operations admin role (or similar)
Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
Nice to Have (Not Essential):
Experience using SAP or other ERP systems
Background in planning, reporting, or production support
Training will be provided where needed. This is a great opportunity to gain experience in a structured production environment with consistent hours and an early finish on Fridays.
