Building Services Engineer – KBR, Inc.
We are looking for a Building Services Engineer to join our multi‑disciplinary engineering team, which consists of Mechanical, Civil, Structural, Building Services, Electrical and Piping Engineers. You will be responsible for authoring, developing, assessing, and maintaining Engineering Design Substantiation for the Facility to ensure Design Intent, Critical Safety Factors and Safety & Operational Requirements are met in line with current best practice and legislative/regulatory requirements.
Location
Hybrid – 3 days per week in the office in Glasgow City Centre or at the site in Helensburgh. Personal transport is essential.

Qualifications
* Building services design experience of the HVAC discipline and supporting systems (LTHW, Fire Dampers etc).
* Ability to illustrate and analyze psychrometric properties of air to demonstrate the psychrometric process of HVAC design and its impact on the internal environment.
* Knowledge of key legislation and standards applicable to the built environment and building services design.
* Familiarity with recognised industry technical guidance such as CIBSE guides and ASHRAE standards.
* Experience producing written technical reports (preferably for the design substantiation of engineered safety measures within a high hazard industry).
* Experience authoring and producing robust technical justification and supporting documentation to allow relevant design modifications to be authorised within a high hazard industry.
* Experience working on multi‑discipline projects providing engineering input (ideally within industrial and/or maritime).
