Job Description
As a Web Manager you will support and champion the on-going development of our intranet and website, making sure these resources are easy to use, accessible and work effectively.
You will have a wide range of skills and experience in website management and will proactively keep this knowledge up to date. This will include a sound understanding of content management systems, ideally WordPress, content accessibility, user experience, and methods of analysing and improving website performance and usability.
Key responsibilities
* You'll also be responsible for leading on content editing, managing user groups and developing clear, consistent requirements for content administrators.
* You will need sound technical understanding, experience, and knowledge of content management systems, ideally WordPress, and you'll also understand how to use Google Analytics to develop actionable insights and reporting.
* You must have had experience of project managing multiple websites and comfortable working with agencies.
* Provide supportive and flexible consultancy services to users of new and existing web-based systems.
* Content management systems, ideally WordPress
* Content accessibility, including WCAG standards.
* Analysing and improving website performance and usability
* User experience and an understanding of WordPress development and plug ins.
