A global supplying Security & Preventative Equipment manufacturer in Staffordshire are looking for a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer. This company are at the forefront of specialist security systems and fabrications used in one of the worlds fastest growing industries.
As a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer, youll be the technical lead in a large multi-skilled Engineering team. Youll lead the NPD function and focus on the design of large steel fabrications and heavy engineered assemblies, through to complex precision equipment utilising BS8888.
This is a multi-skilled Senior Mechanical Design Engineer role consisting of detailed design, calculations, simulation, testing and overseeing your designs through to manufacture.
Senior Mechanical Design Engineer Requirements:
* Degree Educated in Engineering
* Experienced with: Structural Fabrications, Steelwork etc.
* CAD Solidworks (others considered)
* Engineering Calculations Stress, Load, FEA etc.
* Tolerance Design to BS8888 standards
* Overseeing Designs from Concept to Completio
