Are you a recent engineering graduate or early-career professional looking to develop your skills in vehicle design and structural analysis? This is an exciting opportunity to join a respected engineering team working on projects across automotive, motorsport, and niche vehicle development.
What you'll be doing:
* Carrying out all phases of analysis projects, including finite element modelling, results interpretation, and report preparation.
* Supporting divisions and external clients with structural, mechanical, and vehicle-based analysis tasks.
* Collaborating with design engineers, manufacturing personnel, and customers to deliver accurate and efficient engineering solutions.
* Conducting hand calculations and presenting findings to technical teams and stakeholders.
* Contributing to a variety of analysis projects, including vehicle components, mechanisms, and full vehicle structural assessments.
* Using tools such as ABAQUS, OptiStruct, LS-Dyna, and ADAMS to perform advanced simulation and analysis work (training provided if required).
* Ensuring all work aligns with company processes, quality standards, and client specifications.
What we're looking for:
* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical, Automotive, or related Engineering discipline.
* Strong mathematical and analytical skills.
* Aptitude for conceptualising designs and aligning them with mechanical and functional requirements.
* Familiarity with finite element software (e.g. Altair HyperWorks, ABAQUS, or similar).
* Excellent report writing and communication skills, with confidence in presenting technical results.
* Awareness of vehicle suspension systems, hydraulics, or general automotive design principles.
* A genuine interest in the automotive or motorsport industries.
* Motivated, adaptable, and able to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-precision environment.
