Salary £36,3635 - £40,777 | Full time, 37 Hours Per Week | Urgent Care and Short Term Support | East, Lancashire
Responsibilities
* Work within the Urgent Care and Short Term Support service at Lancashire County Council.
* Travel to different locations to provide assessments; a driving licence and access to your own vehicle are essential.
* You will work in a 7-day service (including bank holidays) with the possibility to work up to one in four weekends; pay enhancements apply for weekend working.
Requirements
* We are seeking a kind and compassionate Social Worker with experience in Intermediate Care settings and hospitals, capable of reaching out to those in crisis or who are acutely unwell within the community and hospital settings.
* You must be registered (SWE) to be appointed as a Social Worker or have applied to register with the Social Care Council. For some Social Worker/Care Manager positions where non-social worker qualifications are accepted, registration is not required.
* You will be required to provide a car for duties and must be insured for business use. We may consider candidates who cannot drive due to a disability.
* International Sponsorship – this role is not open to international sponsorship.
