Contract: September 2025 – July 2026 (Term-Time Only)

Pay: £444.00 per week (PAYE)

A secondary school in Wandsworth is seeking a Science Academic Mentor to join their support team for the new academic year. This role is ideal for graduates in Biology, Chemistry, Physics or a related discipline who are passionate about helping students achieve their potential in Science. The Science Academic Mentor position provides an excellent stepping stone for those considering teacher training, research pathways or other school-based careers.



As a Science Academic Mentor, you’ll provide targeted support across KS3 and KS4, working with pupils in need of extra help to understand scientific concepts and exam content. You’ll run one-to-one and small-group interventions, reinforce classroom learning, and adapt materials to meet different levels of ability.
