What skills and experience we're looking for

Brailes C of E Primary School, part of The Stour Federation, is looking for an excellent teacher to lead provision for SEND across our inclusive school.

We are seeking an inspiring and professionally thoughtful individual who can employ a range of pedagogical techniques and strategies to meet the needs of all children. The successful candidate will enjoy working as part of a supportive team that cares for each other, our children, and our community. This is a part-time position involving close collaboration with the Brailes Headteacher, our Trust SENDCo, and SEN staff across our Trust to share knowledge and support.

To be successful, you should have substantial experience working in schools, an excellent knowledge of the national curriculum, and be both creative and passionate about learning. High expectations for children's outcomes are essential. Candidates should hold a National SEND qualification or demonstrate a commitment to achieving this within three years.

The candidate must hold QTS status with a proven track record of delivering high-quality classroom teaching, demonstrating strong adaptive teaching skills and effective SEND support. Passion for providing effective support for all children is essential. Experience in day-to-day staff leadership to positively impact outcomes, and knowledge of the current SEND landscape and effective collaboration with professionals, are also required.

Working for The Stour Federation offers exciting opportunities for ambitious, creative individuals who enjoy collaborative work. Our children love to learn, are creative, and believe in the ethic of excellence.

Use of ICT as an integrated tool to support planning, teaching, curriculum tracking, and classroom activities is an expected part of the role.

We welcome applications that include your professional experience and what you can offer. Visits to our school are highly recommended.
