A UK-based professional services firm is seeking a Lead Consultant specialising in Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) Human Capital Management (HCM), with a particular focus on the Recruitment and Learning modules. Operating within the Oracle services business unit, this organisation supports a range of clients across the public sector.
This position has become available due to the ongoing expansion of client projects, particularly those requiring deep expertise in UK-specific Recruitment and Learning processes. The role will be key in implementing and supporting Oracle EBS HCM solutions for public sector organisations, ensuring seamless integration, performance and compliance.
Key duties
* Lead the implementation and support of Oracle EBS HCM, specifically UK Recruitment and Learning modules
* Provide subject matter expertise in UK Recruitment, Pension, and Learning processes
* Apply hands-on experience with Oracle Global Recruitment/Learning EBS for public sector clients
* Manage issue resolution, ensuring timely closure within SLA targets
* Take full ownership of the support process, including transitions from incumbent vendors
* Work with technical tools such as HCM Data Loader (HDL), HCM Extract, BI reporting, Fast Formulas and Recruitment Batch Loader
* Translate complex solutions for a range of audiences, including business users and senior stakeholders
* Lead integration, data migration and reporting discussions
* Oversee the full Software Development Life Cycle, including CRPs, training and change requests
* Prepare project documentation such as Business Process Specifications, Configuration Workbooks and RAID logs
Candidates should bring extensive experience delivering Oracle EBS HCM Recruitment solutions within the UK public sector. A strong understanding of public sector HR processes is essential, along with demonstrable experience in guiding teams through the full SDLC. Technical proficiency with core HCM tools and reporting solutions will be critical, as will the ability to clearly communicate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Applicants should also have experience in release and delivery planning, coaching team members and managing support tickets and escalations. Familiarity with Agile and Lean methodologies would be advantageous.
