Office Administrator
Contract: Temporary – Permanent
Hourly Rate: £13.00 - £16.00 per hour (PAYE)
Location: Strood, Kent – Office Based
We’re currently recruiting for a proactive and highly organised Office Administrator to join a growing fire alarm company based in Strood. This is a temp-to-perm opportunity with an immediate start, offering flexibility on hours and the chance to become a key part of a supportive team.
Key Responsibilities
Raising and managing purchase orders for equipment and services
Tracking orders and liaising with suppliers to ensure timely delivery
Maintaining accurate supplier records and pricing information
Supporting engineers and project managers with material requirements
Handling incoming calls, emails, and general enquiries
Managing filing systems (electronic and paper)
Assisting with invoicing, job tracking, and documentation
Scheduling service appointments and coordinating site visits
Monitoring stock levels and managing inventory logs
Providing general administrative support across the business
What We’re Looking For
Previous experience in an office administration role
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
Confident using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
Excellent communication skills and a positive, team-focused attitude
