Vice President, Diagnostics at OTM Networks
Location: Cambridge, England, United Kingdom (Harston or Epsom office)
About the Role
We are looking for a senior commercial leader with significant experience in In Vitro Diagnostics (IVD) or Life Science Research Tools (LSRT) innovation and R&D to join our dynamic medical team. Reporting to the Managing Partner, Medical, you will drive business development and client relationship management, support profitable sales, and oversee project delivery.
Key Responsibilities
 * Act as main point of contact between Sagentia Innovation and client accounts.
 * Network within target accounts to grow revenue streams.
 * Maintain sales and revenue forecast.
 * Lead business development activities, source new leads, and craft compelling sales material.
 * Own the sales process and closing of opportunities to grow the pipeline.
 * Negotiate contracts and manage commercial terms.
 * Oversee project delivery ensuring client requirements are met and translate technical delivery to client language.
 * Provide domain leadership and thought‑leadership messaging for specific market sub‑sectors.
Qualifications
 * Degree to Master’s/PhD in Engineering, Science or related field; MBA preferred.
 * 10+ years post‑education experience with senior level (VP, CXO, R&D Director) in large corporates or start‑ups.
 * Experience in IVD/LSRT development (microfluidics, optics, sample preparation, NGS, single‑cell).
 * Proven track record in sales and business development, achieving targets and building client trust.
 * Experience delivering new product/device introduction.
 * Ability to travel up to 25% of time (US, Europe, Asia).
