Town Planner – Cambridge
Location: Cambridge (Hybrid or Office-based)
Salary: £35,000 – £45,000 DOE + benefits

Are you a motivated Town Planner looking to join a respected planning consultancy with a strong presence across the East of England?
We’re working with a highly regarded consultancy in Cambridge that’s looking to strengthen its planning team with the addition of a Town Planner. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with around 2–5 years’ experience in the planning sector who is looking to work on a wide range of residential, commercial, and mixed-use developments across the region.
You’ll be joining a friendly and knowledgeable team with a collaborative culture, clear career progression routes, and support towards MRTPI (if not already achieved).
The Role
* Prepare and submit planning applications, appeals, and supporting documents
* Advise clients on planning policy, development potential, and strategy
* Liaise with local authorities, stakeholders, and multidisciplinary teams
* Attend site visits and client meetings within the region
* Support senior planners on complex schemes while managing your own caseload
What We’re Looking For:
* Town Planning degree (or related)
* Around 2–5 years of experience in a planning consultancy or local authority
* Ideally working towards or already MRTPI qualified
* Confident communicator and able to work independently and in a team
* Strong understanding of the UK planning system, especially within the East of England
