We are seeking a Logistics 3PL Operations Management Specialist to oversee and optimize the performance of a key third-party logistics (3PL) warehouse provider in the UK. This role is critical in ensuring high-quality service delivery across our Consumer Brands Group (CBG) and Protective & Marine (P&M) divisions. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing warehouse operations, improving service quality, and enhancing communication between internal stakeholders and the 3PL provider.
The position is based in the North of the UK with an ideal location being around Sheffield or Bolton / Manchester.
In this role you will be responsible for...
1. Oversee daily warehouse operations, ensuring accuracy in inbound/outbound activities, picking, packing, pallet quality, and load safety.
2. Resolve operational issues including damages, incorrect quantities, product variances, and packing defects.
3. Act as the main liaison between Sherwin-Williams divisions and the 3PL provider, ensuring smooth communication and aligned service levels.
4. Manage system and data accuracy across 3PL WMS/TMS and Sherwin-Williams Oracle systems, ensuring reliable reporting and reconciliation.
5. Monitor and improve performance KPIs, driving efficiency, service quality, and cost-saving initiatives.
