Permanent Contract – Day Shifts available
The Sidcup offers nursing and residential care, both long‑term and short‑stay. The purpose‑built home is equipped with modern amenities and a warm, homely atmosphere. All bedrooms have en‑suite facilities and high‑standard furnishings. The two‑floor layout includes dining rooms, lounges, a cinema lounge, well‑maintained gardens, a hairdressing salon and a private lounge, ideal for family events. Visiting professionals such as physiotherapists and chiropodists are available. Weekly GP visits provide residents with regular, personalised medical reviews. Nutritious meals are prepared from fresh ingredients, with dietary needs and personal preferences taken into account by the chef, who may create tailored menus. Residents enjoy regular tea rounds with fresh cakes, organised activities (quizzes, bingo, film afternoons, board games, arts and crafts, trips, entertainers, tai chi, massage, aromatherapy) and weekly GP visits for personalized care.

Key Responsibilities
* Support residents with companionship and personal care.
* Observe and manage residents’ behaviour, documenting and reporting changes in accordance with legislation.
* Support residents’ nutrition and hydration needs, encouraging and assisting them to eat and drink according to their care plan.
* Provide physical and mental stimulation through social and recreational activities, both group and individual.
* Maintain accurate care plans in line with regulatory and legal requirements.
What We're Looking For
* Motivation, positivity and great interpersonal skills.
* Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Desirable: previous experience in a care home or a Health and Social Care qualification.
