Join Our Team as a Female Support Worker in Wednesbury!
Location: Wednesbury, WS10 (Just an 8 min drive from Bescot Stadium Train Station)
Pay: £12.31 per hour (£50 Per Sleep In Shift)
Position: Full-Time / Part-Time
Requirements: Excellent communication skills, confidence to adhere to routines, experience in supporting significant learning disabilities, autism, diabetes management (Type 2 diabetes) and behaviours of distress.

Who Will You Be Supporting?

You will be supporting a lady in her 40s who lives in her own bungalow. She has significant learning disabilities, autism, is registered blind (BD8), and has additional conditions including Reynard's syndrome, Type 2 diabetes, and behaviours of distress. She thrives on routine and enjoys cooking and shopping and is seeking confident, firm, caring, and compassionate support workers to join her team.

Working Hours:

* Long Day Sleep-In Shifts: 8am - 8am the following day (Includes £50 Sleep-In Shift)
* Sleep-In Shifts: 10pm - 8am (Paid Set Rate Of £50 Per Sleep-In)

We are seeking flexibility to work weekdays and weekends, with a minimum of 1 sleep-in shift per week.

Key Responsibilities:

* Support with Daily Living Activities: Assist with all daily living activities, including personal care and medication management.

* Meal Preparation: Prepare specific meals according to a diabetic diet, ensuring adherence to dietary needs.

* Community Outings: Facilitate community outings and shopping tasks, supporting her to engage in activities she enjoys.

* Routine Management: Ensure daily routines are maintained to prevent distress and promote stability.

* Communication: Provide clear and confident communication to support her needs effectively.
